Donald "Don" Ray Watkins

Donald “Don” Ray Watkins, age 83, lifelong Coweta resident entered into the Gates of Heaven on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Don was born on November 13, 1939 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Wayne and Macy (Snelson) Watkins.  He was a 1957 graduate of Porter High School.  Don married Bettie Beatrice (Walkup) Watkins on October 23, 1959 in Coweta, Oklahoma.  He owned and operated Watkins Concrete for many years.  Don was a very simple man.

Don is survived by his wife, Bettie Watkins; his son, Bruce Watkins and wife Melissa; his son-in-law, Pete Green; five grandchildren, Macy Watkins, Bethany Watkins, Brett Watkins, Trent Green and wife Brandie, and Kenzie Green; three great grandchildren; his brothers, Maynard Watkins and Derl Watkins; his sister, Rickie Ross; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Watkins, his mother, Macy Watkins, his step-mother, Gertrude Watkins, his daughter, Pam Green, his sister, Annalene Stacy, and his brother, Jesse Watkins.

There are no services planned for Don.
