Eva G. Vazquez

Eva G. Vazquez, age 81, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma entered into the Gates of Heaven on Monday afternoon, March 13, 2023 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Eva was born on July 13, 1941 to Federico and Josefa (Perales) Galvez.  She married Daniel L. Vazquez, Sr. on December 22, 1962 in Rio Hondo, Texas.  Eva was a devoted homemaker who loved caring for her family.  She enjoyed word search and crossword puzzles, eating out, and she loved spending time with her family.

Eva is survived by her husband, Daniel L. Vazquez Sr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her children, Lydia Villarreal and husband Alonso Villarreal Jr. of Deer Park, Texas, Daniel Vazquez Jr. and wife Mary Vazquez of Pasadena, Texas, Javier Vazquez and wife Laura Vazquez of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Hector Vazquez of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her sister, Esther G. Escamilla of Rio Hondo, Texas; nine grandchildren, Alonso D. Villarreal, Elizabeth D. Villarreal, Erica Vazquez Mata and husband Richard Mata, Steven Vazquez, Kaylin Smith, Baylie Coday, MaCray “Boo” McManus, Daniel Bomboy, and Alicia Bomboy; thirteen great grandchildren, Emma, Addison, Presleigh, Payson, Jackson, Chase, Emma, Kyng, Barrett, Kamonnie, Acelynn, Spencer, and Sutton; and several nieces, nephews, and countless precious friends.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Josefa Galvez, her sisters, Josefa G. Cruz, Manuela G. Juarez, and Margarita G. Juarez, and her brothers, Federico Galvez and Ambrocio Galvez.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Eva’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.  Eva will be laid to rest at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Daniel Bomboy, Daniel Vazquez Jr., Javier Vazquez, Alonso Villarreal, and Hector Vazquez.  Honorary Pallbearers are Alonso D. Villarreal and Leo Vasquez.
