Eve Marie Rogers

Eve Marie Rogers, age 59, resident of Coweta departed this life on Friday afternoon, March 12, 2021 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Eve was born on March 22, 1961 in Louisburg, Kansas and was the daughter of J.W. and Kay Lee (Chorn) Peace.  She attended school in Augusta, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.  She married the love of her life, James Rogers on October 16, 1984 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  Eve worked at Mark’s Place in Coweta and Jim’s One Stop in Coweta.  She enjoyed reading books, playing with her dogs, going on road trips, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.  Eve will be missed by all that knew and loved her dearly.

Eve is survived by her husband, James Rogers of Coweta, Oklahoma; two sons, James Rogers, Jr. and wife Dee of Haskell, Oklahoma and Martin McDonald of Oklahoma; one daughter, Brandi Rogers and husband Nick Virostko of Coweta, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Kaylee, Athena, Mackenzie, Serenity, and Mitchell; five step-grandchildren, Mahala, Shayna, Devon, Destiny, and Dominic; one brother, Adam Peace of Augusta, Kansas; one sister, Diane Friedley of Nevada, Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Eve was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Lee Peace; her stepfather; and her grandparents.

A memorial service celebrating Eve’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Matt Rowell officiating.
