Gary Wayne Martin

Gary Wayne Martin, age 65, resident of Coweta departed this life on Sunday evening, September 20, 2020 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Gary was born on October 22, 1954 and was the son of Woodrow Wilson and Mary Francis (Brooks) Martin.  He attended school in Lincoln, Arkansas.  Gary was a cross country truck driver for 45 years.  He enjoyed working on lawn mowers, tinkering with things, and taking care of his grandchildren.

Gary is survived by three children, Kimberly Ann Fieldson and husband Ronald Jr. of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Sheila Kay Graves and fiancé Josh Parks of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Christopher Wayne Martin of Coweta, Oklahoma; one brother, Marvin Martin of Pennsylvania; one sister, Virginia Dees of Fayetteville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Courtney Fieldson, Dakota Fieldson, Wyatt Fieldson and wife Molly, Ethen Graves, and Blake Graves; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Mary Francis Martin and his sister, Phyllis Deiker.

Graveside services celebrating Gary’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Elm Grove Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Chris Martin, Josh Parks, Ron Fieldson, Wyatt Fieldson, Charles Ross, and Albert Ross.
