After graduating from high school, he went to Luzon Nazarene Bible College in Baguio, Philippines.
Gilbert loved teaching, and through this, he found his calling, which is in compassion ministries. He was active in church ministries in the Philippines, and he participated in several support groups. He is very proud of his work because he found happiness and fulfillment in helping others.
He migrated here to the United States 8 years ago, and he continued his ministry through his work. He worked at Saint Francis Hospital South for six years. He used this as an opportunity to be a blessing to others by bringing positivity and spreading enthusiasm to the people around him.
