Harold Gene Wallis

Harold Gene Wallis, age 84, resident of Catoosa, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his home in Catoosa, Oklahoma.  Harold was born on August 6, 1937 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to John Wilson and Mae (Burris) Wallis.  He was a graduate of East Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He and Cathryn “Juanita” Wallis were united in marriage on November 30, 1958 in Winnie, Texas.  Harold was an auto mechanic where he owned and operated Owasso Auto Clinic for many years and he also remodeled homes.  He enjoyed his dogs and working on cars.

Harold is survived by three children, Beverly Winterstine of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Curtis Wallis of Germany, and Howard Wallis of Catoosa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Cathryn “Juanita” Wallis, his parents, John Wilson and Mae Wallis, and his brother, George Wallis.

Graveside services celebrating Harold’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
