Jacob Gill Obituary

Jacob Raymond Gill, also known as “Jake”, age 29, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania departed this life on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Jake was born on January 28, 1991 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania and was the son of Jeffrey Ray and Jean Marie (Houck) Gill.  He attended Tulsa Technology Center where he received a welding degree.  Jake worked in the warehouse at Vantage Foods in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.  He loved snowboarding, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and he loved his family.

Jake is survived by his parents, Jeffrey Ray and Jean Marie Gill of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two sisters, Janelle Trowbridge and husband Shaun of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Janae Jones and husband Nathan of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his paternal grandmother, Catherine Gill of Hillsville, Virginia; his maternal grandmother, Nancy Houck of Baltimore, Maryland; three nieces, Samyiah Trowbridge, Lilith Jones, and Nova Jones; one nephew, Jeremiah Trowbridge; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Jake was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert John Mark Gill and his maternal grandfather, Charles Houck.

Viewing will be from 1:00 - 2:00 PM and services celebrating Jake’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Community Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Adam Mask officiating.  Jake will be laid to rest at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville, Oklahoma.
