James "Jimmy" Erwin Robertson

James “Jimmy” Erwin Robertson, age 61, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon, May 30, 2022, at St. John Hospital in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Jimmy was born on December 10, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Thomas and Josephine “Jo” Lavern (Bryan) Robertson.  He was a graduate of Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Jimmy married Cleta Marie Acord on February 14, 1982 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  He worked at Norberg IES as a wireman for over 22 years.  Jimmy enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Jimmy is survived by two sons, Cody Robertson and his wife Lynzee of Porter, Oklahoma and Casey Robertson and Jillian Good of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother, Ernie Robertson of Kiln, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Raiden Robertson, Kanyon Robertson, Halyn Robertson, and Diesyl Murphy; two grandchildren on the way, Jacelyn Robertson and Johnny Robertson; his companion, Coleen McIntire of Coweta, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Cleta Marie Robertson, his parents, James Thomas and Josephine “Jo” Lavern Robertson, and his brother, Johnny Robertson.

A memorial service celebrating Jimmy’s life will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Lynn Moss officiating.
