Javier Gonzales

Javier Gonzales "Javi”, 53, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was born on July 29, 1967 in East Los Angeles, California to Felix Gonzales and Martha Martinez and went to Heaven on May 8, 2021.  His siblings are Rodolfo Martinez, Ismael Gonzales, Ricardo Martinez, Johnny Gonzales, and Elvira Gonzales.  His children are Vanessa Gonzales, Javier Gonzales Jr., Amanda Gonzales, Adam Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, and Abraham Gonzales. He attended Zavala Elementary, Lee Mathson Middle School, and Yerba Buena High School, and took classes in criminal justice at San Jose City College.

He was employed in construction, professional driving, removing asbestos, and worked on oil pipeline assembly.  His hobbies included Floklorico, dancing, basketball, football, baseball, he loved to cook (especially barbeque), and loved all sports.

He was preceded in death by his father Felix Gonzales, brothers Ismael Gonzales and Johnny Gonzales, and sister Elvira Gonzales.

Javier is survived by his two brothers, Rodolfo Martinez and Richard Martinez, and his children Vanessa Gonzales, Javier Gonzales Jr., Amanda Gonzales, Adam Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, and Abraham Gonzales.

Services will be held at Healing Grace Church on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Gregory Riether. Reception to follow.
