John Andrew Maglovsky

John Andrew Maglovsky, age 79, resident of Haskell went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, November 26, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  John was born on May 15, 1941 in Akron, Ohio and was the son of John and Millie Ruth (Sluka) Maglovsky.  He was a graduate of West End Christian School in Hopewell, Virginia.  John then attended Bible college for 2 years.  He met and married the love of his life, Wilma V. Borntrager on July 21, 1962 in Massillon, Ohio.  John was an over the road truck driver for 30 years until he retired.  He was a member of Our Finest Hour Church in Broken Arrow.  John enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and going on cruises.  He loved his God with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength and he loved his family the same. 

John is survived by his wife, Wilma Maglovsky of the home in Haskell, Oklahoma; three daughters, Michele Coates and husband Michael of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Sondra Maglovsky of Columbia, Missouri, and Tracie Salerno and husband Mike of Haskell, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Brian Coates and wife Lauren, Sean Coates, Tiffany Coates, Andrew Donald, Justin Donald and wife Sierra, Ashlee Salerno, Macie Salerno, and Halee York; four great grandchildren, Liam Coates, Akiva Angell, Allycin Donald, and Dante Donald; one sister, Millie Ruth Pinkleton and husband Hildreth of Chesterfield, Virginia; one niece, Debbie Johnson and husband Richard of Chesterfield, Virginia; and numerous other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Millie Ruth Maglovsky.

A memorial service celebrating John’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Our Finest Hour Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Dan Zirkle officiating.
