Joseph Franklin "Joe" Self

Joseph Franklin Self, also known as “Joe”, passed away on Saturday evening, August 22, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 50.  Joe was born on June 15, 1970 in Claremore, Oklahoma and was the son of Robert Self and Trudy (Bridges) Self.  He attended school in Catoosa, Oklahoma and was a 1988 graduate of Catoosa High School.  Joe was an electrical technician for 14 years and installed security systems at Byrd Security Systems.  He enjoyed fishing and camping. Joe will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his daughter, Josie Self of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his parents, Robert Self, Jr. and Trudy Self of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his paternal grandmother, Joyce Self of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one brother, Daniel Self of Catoosa, Oklahoma; one sister, Melody Self of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Self, Sr; his maternal grandparents, Marion and Lura Chisholm; his aunt, Patsy Rosser; and his uncle, Duane Rosser.
