Kelli Dawn Rankin

Kelli Dawn Rankin, age 48, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma, departed this life on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Kelli was born on May 13, 1973 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Robert and Ruth Ann(Adney) Cosby.  She attended Coweta High School and was a homemaker. Kelli married the love of her life, Jeffrey Boyce Rankin on October 28, 1989 in Coweta, Oklahoma.   She loved spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, lady bugs, and collecting elephants.

Kelli is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jeff Rankin of their home in Coweta, Oklahoma, her four children, Jeffrey Rankin, Jr. and his wife Amy, Brooke Rankin, Kenneth Rankin and his fiancé Jordan, and Brett Rankin; four grandchildren, Aiden Rankin, Christian Bales, Malaki Rankin, and Mia Gable; her three sisters, Peggy Payne and her husband Jim, Laura Cosby, and Robin Sutton and her husband Eric, her brother in law Allen Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Kelli was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Ann Cosby, and her sister Carolyn Smith.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Graveside services celebrating Kelli’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Chase Sanders officiating.

Pallbearers are Jeff Rankin, Jeffrey Rankin, Jr., Kenneth Rankin, and Brett Rankin.
