Larry Edward Blair

Larry Edward Blair, age 81, resident of Porter departed this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at his home in Porter, Oklahoma.  Larry was born on August 14, 1941 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Willie Morris and Mary Thelma (Blankenship) Blair.  He attended Coweta schools and was a 1960 graduate of Coweta High School.  Larry married Odema Gail Frost on November 11, 1961 in Coweta, Oklahoma.  He was a welder for over 40 years at TK International and Pratt & Whitney.  Larry enjoyed horses, team roping, coon and squirrel hunting, and gardening.  He was a member of the Coweta Round Up Club, Broken Arrow Round Up Club, Central States Rodeo Association, and United States Team Roping Association.  Larry was best known for his quick wit and his smile.

Larry is survived by one daughter, Melody Rosenthal and Terry Baldwin of Porter, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Katie Rosenthal, Corey Rosenthal, and Riley Rosenthal; two brothers, Billy Blair and wife Doris of Coweta, Oklahoma and David Blair of Coweta, Oklahoma; one sister, Sandy Owens of Coweta, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Odema Gail Blair, his parents, Willie Morris and Mary Thelma Blair, his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Ray Nail, his sister-in-law, Judy Blair, and his brother-in-law, David Owens.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  There will be no services held for Larry.
