Loretta Ann Green

Loretta Ann Green, age 89, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma departed this life on Monday evening, August 8, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Loretta was born on April 3, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Milton C. and Martha A. (Sherwood) Wells.  She attended Roosevelt School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Loretta was employed as a hostess for 12 years at Borden Ranch Acres and later she owned and operated Hide Away Bar for 3 ½ years.  She loved being around people and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Garry Nichols of Coweta, Oklahoma; her sister, Nancy Connell and husband Charles of Coweta, Oklahoma; and her nieces, Sheree, Deborah, Valinda, Diana, and LaDonna.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Martha Wells, her husband, Earl Green, her sister, Frances Turner, and her nephew, Stan.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Loretta’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.  Loretta will be laid to rest at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
