Marvin Lynn Baucom

Marvin Lynn Baucom, age 78, lifelong Coweta resident went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday afternoon, June 16, 2022 at his home in Coweta, Oklahoma surrounded by his family.  Marvin was born on August 25, 1943 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Tilford Theodore and Letha Anvie (Clayborne) Baucom.  He went to school at Coweta Public Schools.  Marvin married the love of his life, Kelli Denise Rider on March 19, 1983 in Coweta, Oklahoma.  He was a roofing contractor for most of his life.  He loved roofing with his son, Nick and grandson, Nicholas.  Marvin enjoyed birds and peacocks, being outdoors, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Kelli Denise Baucom; four children, Marvin Lynn Baucom Jr., Ricky Lee Baucom, Joyce Baucom, and Nicholas Ryan Baucom and his wife, Lauren Christine Baucom; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan Baucom Jr., Chloe Lynn Baucom, Hunter Ryan Baucom, Payton Wayne Baucom, Landon James Baucom, Logan Eli Baucom, Isabella Christine Baucom, and Oliver Knight Baucom; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Tilford Theodore and Letha Anvie Baucom, his granddaughter, Lana Rena, and eight siblings.

Visitation will be from 12:00-8:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma with the family present from 6:00-8:00 PM.  There are no services planned for Marvin.
