Nicholas "Nick" Ray Wisdom

Nicholas Ray Wisdom, affectionately known as Nick to his loved ones, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at the age of 50, in Coweta, OK. He was born on January 25, 1974, in Muskogee, OK. Nick grew up to be a warmhearted man, beloved by his family and all who knew him.

Nick was a 1994 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. His work ethic was as solid as his character, leading him to a dedicated career as a security guard with Allied Universal, and later, he took to the roads as a truck driver for American Waste Control.

Family was the cornerstone of Nick's life, and he leaves behind a loving legacy that includes his four cherished children: Jasmine Narney of Midwest City, OK, Cody Wisdom and fiancée Luna Firestone of Lincoln Park, MI, Josh Wisdom and fiancée Destiny Lash of Coweta, OK, and Kendra Wisdom of Coweta, OK. Nick delighted in his role as a grandfather to Gabriella Sue Wisdom, treasuring every moment spent with her. He was a devoted son to his mother, Judy Hutson of Oklahoma City, OK, and father, Roger Wisdom of Coweta, OK. He also leaves behind his brothers, Todd Wisdom and wife Karen of Oklahoma City, OK, Melvin McBride of Royce City, TX, and his sister, Gina Coon and husband Clay of Tomball, TX, along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Nick's passion for fishing and creating treasured memories with his family will be fondly remembered by all. Those who know Nick will remember his love for fishing and the simple joy he found in life's quiet moments, especially those spent holding his grandbaby. His warm spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have known him.

A memorial service celebrating Nick’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Coweta Assembly in Coweta, OK.
