Obituary

Pati Lynnae Casillas, age 70, resident of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, OK. She was born on October 30, 1952, in Altus, OK to Jeff Allen and Beulah Ruth (Fallwell) Booker. Pati's life was marked by her vibrant spirit, her love for her family, and her passion for life.

Pati's early education was in Headrick, OK, and she later attended Altus schools, graduating from Altus High School in 1970. She then embarked on a fulfilling career as a hairdresser, a profession she passionately pursued for 50 years. Her clients not only appreciated her skill but also her warm personality, which made every appointment a joy.

On October 11, 1994, Pati married the love of her life, Larry Crosby Casillas. Their shared love for the outdoors and country lifestyle brought them closer together. Pati loved square dancing on horseback, showing Palomino horses, and working cattle and sheep with livestock dogs. She also had a passion for country western dancing and singing karaoke. Together, Pati and Larry owned and operated the Casillas Carriage Company, a testament to their shared love for horses. Pati was known for her culinary skills, often referred to as the best cook by her family and friends. Above all, Pati was a devoted wife and mother, always putting her family first.

Pati is survived by her husband, Larry Casillas of their home in Broken Arrow, OK; her children, Kenna Harkins and husband John of Collinsville, OK, Diana Freeman and husband Bob of Jenks, OK, Chali Stevens and husband Carey of Tulsa, OK, Steven Smallwood and wife Tracy of Claremore, OK, Paul Casillas and wife Leslie of Broken Arrow, OK, and Mark Casillas and wife Christie of Liberty, TX; her brother, Ronnie Booker and wife Pam of Headrick, OK; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pati was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff Allen and Beulah Ruth Booker and her brother, Wesley Booker.

Pati was a beacon of love, warmth, and joy to all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her spirit, love, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
