Ronald LaRue Obituary

Ronald Lee LaRue, also known as “Ron”, age 67, resident of Broken Arrow departed this life on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Wagoner Community Hospital in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Ron was born on May 23, 1953 in Aberdeen, Maryland and was the son of Emma Virginia (Weeks) and Harry Lee LaRue, Jr.

Ron was a graduate of McAlester High School in McAlester, Oklahoma. He worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections as a maintenance supervisor for many years until he retired. In May of 2015, he married the love of his life, Kathy Marie (Hurt) LaRue. Ron enjoyed working on cars and fishing.

Ron is survived by his wife, Kathy LaRue of the home; five children, Tisha Morgan, Jessica LaRue, Carissa Hull, Emily Hall and husband Aaron, and Jessica Vaughan; two brothers, Kenneth LaRue and Jeff LaRue; four grandsons, Gavin, Garrison, Jody, and Finnegan; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents.

Ron’s wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.
