Rowena Margo Meyer

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowena Margo Meyer, age 86, resident of Inola, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday afternoon, November 5, 2022.

Rowena was born on November 27, 1936 in Joplin, Missouri to Betty Bernice Martin and Sam Washington Martin. Her favorite pastimes were doing crafts, playing board games and cards with family, crossword puzzles, reading books, and dancing. She loved to go on cruises and loved traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Meyer of Owasso, Oklahoma and her daughter, Mischelle Flannery of Grove, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Davis and Margo Murphy of Grove, Oklahoma, Mark Hunt of Inola, Oklahoma, and Tracy Colf of Seligman, Missouri; her brother, Richard Cahill of Muskegon, Michigan; 20 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Graveside services celebrating Rowena’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday November 10, 2022 at Carterville Cemetery in Carterville, Missouri with Rev. Brody Morris officiating.
