Veronica L. Harris

Veronica L. Harris, age 69, resident of Porter, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Veronica was born on October 18, 1951 in Mosquero, New Mexico to Leo and Stella (Griego) Arguello.  She married the love of her life, Michael Harris on October 11, 1991 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  Veronica worked as a bank teller at Community Bank and Trust until she retired in 2013.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband, Michael of 30 years.  Veronica also enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Veronica leaves behind her husband, Michael Harris of the home in Porter, Oklahoma; two daughters, Karen Tarkinton and husband Tim of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Sandi White of Logan, New Mexico; four sisters; five brothers; four grandchildren, Stephen Montano, Allisyn Heilman, Kayla Gutierrez, and Jason Gutierrez; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loved ones.

Veronica was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Stella Arguello and two sisters, Marcella and Gloria.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Veronica’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor George Davis officiating.  Veronica will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Leo Arguello, Tommy Arguello, Joey Arguello, Bobby Arguello, Ben Arguello, and Junior Martinez.  Honorary Pallbearers are Alan Harpers and Dennis Welch.
