Victor Lee Gable

Victor Lee Gable, age 39, resident of Coweta went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, July 2, 2020 in Coweta, OK.  Victor was born on January 23, 1981 in Muskogee, OK and was the son of James Curtis Gable, Sr. and Susie Ann (Wesley) Gable.  He attended school in Claremore.  In 2018, Victor was saved and baptized at Broken Arrow Indian United Methodist Church.  He loved music, fishing, wrestling, football, and baseball.  Victor had a loving heart and enjoyed helping people any way he could.

Victor is survived by his mother, Sue Gable of Coweta, OK; his god children, Jordan Gable and Justun Gable; his siblings, James Curtis Gable, Jr. of Taft, CA, Tisha Sue Gable of Coweta, OK, and Richard Dewey Gable of Broken Arrow, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Victor was preceded in death by his father, James Curtis Gable, Sr.; his uncle, Darrell Wesley; and maternal grandparents, Victor and Amanda Wesley.

Viewing will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta. Wake Services will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 7:00 PM and Victor’s Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM, both at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church, 383041 E. 1017 Rd., Okemah, OK 74859.  Victor will be laid to rest at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church Cemetery in Okemah, OK.

Pallbearers are James Gable, Richard Gable, Justin Gable, Kenny Rankin, James McHenry, and Thomas Pickering.  Honorary Pallbearers are George Robbins, Anderson Wesley, Gary Frazier, and Richard Wesley.
