Wallace Everett Sears

Wallace Everett Sears, age 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, May 15, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Wallace was born on September 8, 1937 in Brighton, Colorado and was the son of Lendal and Alice (Renner) Sears.  He was a graduate of Brighton High School in Brighton, Colorado and then attended University of Colorado and Long Beach State University where he received a bachelor’s degree.  Wallace married the love of his life, Ruby Ruth (Maestas) Sears on June 20, 1959 in Denver, Colorado.  He was an Aeronautical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Corporation for 30 years until he retired.  Wallace enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, sports, and he loved going on drives with his wife and dogs.

Wallace is survived by his wife, Ruby Ruth Sears of Coweta, Oklahoma; his daughters, Traci Sears of Larskspur, Colorado and Cheryl Hogan and her husband David of Coweta, Oklahoma; his son, Randall Sears of Phoenix, Arizona; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, Lendal and Alice Sears, his son, Kevin Sears, his brother, Eugene Sears, and his sister, Gertrude Skinner.
